Alfred Molina Movie Trivia

Actor Alfred Molina is back in theaters, with a supporting role in the new Richard Gere film "The Hoax." Molina may not be a household name, but he's a respected stage actor, and he's had his fair share of notable movie roles. He was in last year's "The Da Vinci Code," he was the mayor in "Chocolat," and he played arch villain Dr. Octopus in "Spiderman 2." He's been acting in films since the early 80's, and in fact his very first feature film appearance was in a small but memorable role in a true 80's classic. His character delivers the classic line "No time to argue. Throw me the idol, I throw you the whip." What was the name of this film?

Bonus Question: Not to give away the answer to the first question, but the distinctive opening sequence of the afore mentioned film created enough of a sensation that spoofs have shown up in many subsequent works. The Simpsons did a take off this film sequence in the 90's, and so did a 1989 film starring another famous "Al", the prince of parody, "Weird Al" Yankovic. What was the name of Weird Al's film?
